You'll forgive me, but I truely despise fan fiction. Wil wrote one once... and I made fun of him the whole time he was writing it. As I was editing it I was saying: "Wow, this is really nice writing... now if only it was original characters so that it'd be something worthy." ...it is like a pet peeve. I want people to write original stories. Wil's fic had a wonderful plot, and was beautifully written... but for me it was tainted.

Gabi chan your a snob!!!! People make similar comments all the time about Fanart that it's not REAL art. But I have to admit I get more enjoyment out of drawing fanart then I do my own original work. So I guess it's all in what you like. I like and do too many things that others consider weird to ever belittle something that someone enjoys. Like going and watching Star Wars in a cape with my light up lightsaber at my side O.o but YOU wouldn't know anything about that!

Tee hee... good point. For some reason it's not fan art but fan fic that bothers me. I think because it is really easy to insert other characters in a similar plot and have an original story and I figure if you need to make it a fan fic you must think that the story itself could not stand alone without guest appearences of famous character.

Fanart... hell I started out drawing Sailor Moon characters. They look better then my original characters, because it's easy for me to "draw what I see" with my real eyes. It's harder to keep something I'm visualizing in my head long enough to get a clear picture on paper. I like fan art. ^_^ I usually don't draw them anymore only because... well I'm working on other things. It's hard for me to try and refine what's in my head so I have to really really try and work on it. Saaa. Oh well. Fanart definitly= fun but I am indeed a writing snob.

It was horrible for me in Fiction Writing class... because everyone wrote totally banal stories about cancers and divorce....and I was like: Ummm.. Fae...unicorns..dragons....witches...? Hehe..They compared me to Tolkein because that's the only Fantasy writer they knew. While flattering, I am no Tolkein. It's just their noses were so high in the sky they never read any real fantasy...besides the one that is sorta like required reading.

So yeah. I want orginal stories, but fanart seems different to me. I just don't understand fan fic, but you will never catch me at a star wars movie opening without my light saber. I should post pics of the last time, because my make up was awesome... at least I liked it.

I think it looks great, especially since Kich looks so much like his old man. It just works out so well and Belle looks incredibly sweet!

ohhh i love this picture! I love how you positioned them and I love how Belle is touching Kich's arm. They look so relaxed with each other. She looks so pretty And Kich looks awesome! I love his smile and I've always loved how you draw eyes. It looks great so far!!

Kawaii! I love it personally, then again I get a kick out of see what people will draw the Purity chars like.
